Privacy policy

This policy explains what Ledger Loop ("the app", "we") collects, why, and the choices you have. We are innova8ions, reachable at innova8ions@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, your name (from you, or from Google if you sign in with Google), and a profile colour.
- What you add: spaces and their members, expenses, income, budgets, goals, bills, loans and payments, khata entries and the names and phone numbers of customers, suppliers, friends or guests you enter, invoices, tasks, lists, notes, events, polls, habits, tracker entries (for example fitness, baby or health logs), recipes and meal plans, and receipt photos you attach.
- Device data you allow: notifications, calendar access if you turn on calendar sync (events are written to, and read from, your phone's calendar), the microphone for voice entry, the camera or photos for receipts, and biometrics only through your phone's own lock screen when you turn on App lock. We never receive your fingerprint, face or PIN.
- Technical data: basic logs created by our hosting provider (such as IP address and timestamps) for security and reliability.
We do not show ads, we do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train advertising profiles.
How we use it
To provide the app: sign you in, sync your spaces between the people in them, send reminders and notifications you asked for, and keep the service secure. People in a space can see what is shared in that space, including your name. Items marked private are visible only to you.
Who else handles your data
- Supabase hosts the database, sign-in and file storage in Frankfurt, Germany (European Union).
- Google provides "Continue with Google" sign-in. We receive your email address and name from Google, not your password.
- An email provider delivers sign-in codes and confirmation or password-reset emails.
We do not share your content with anyone else except as the law requires.
Sensitive information
If you choose to log health information (for example baby, pregnancy or medicine trackers), it is stored like the rest of your content and shared only with people in that space. Please do not enter bank card numbers or passwords anywhere in the app.
Keeping and deleting your data
You can export your data (CSV or JSON) from Settings. You can leave a space at any time, and you can delete your account in the app under Settings, Delete my account. Deleting your account removes your profile and sign-in, and removes spaces where you are the only member. Content you created in a space shared with others stays with that space for the remaining members. You can also ask us by email to delete your data, and we will respond within 30 days. Deleted items are removed from backups within a reasonable period.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access to every space is restricted by row-level security so people only see spaces they belong to. No system is perfectly secure, so use a strong device lock and keep your phone updated.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California) you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data, and to object to or restrict processing. Email us and we will help.
Children
Ledger Loop is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
